Meloidogyne enterolobii egg extraction in NaOCl versus infectivity of inoculum on cucumber

has been employed as a standard technique for RKN egg extraction. Initially, NaOCl was employed to dissolve egg masses of M. incognita from cucumber galled roots by grinding for 40 sec in 20% NaOCl solution (McClure et al., 1973). Simultaneously, treatments involving different concentrations (2.62, 1.05, and 0.53%) of NaOCl and vigorous shaking of tomato roots for 4 min were studied.
