Nothotylenchus andrassy n. sp. (Nematoda: Anguinidae) from Northern Iran

Nothotylenchus andrassy n. sp. is described and illustrated from moss (Sphagnum sp.) based on morphology and molecular analyses. Morphologically, this new species is characterized by a medium body size, six incisures in the lateral fields, and a delicate stylet (8–9 µm long) with clearly defined knobs. Redefinition of Genus Malenchus Andrassy, 1968 (Tylenchomorpha: Tylenchidae) with Additional Data on Ecology

as the closely related Ottolenchus were given based on a combination of morphology and recent molecular data, and their phylogeny were analyzed in a context of Tylenchidae. Furthermore, we test different fungi and moss as a food resource of Malenchus and their feeding behavior is also discussed.

Short-term Impacts of Tillage and Fertilizer Treatments on Soil and Root Borne Nematodes and Maize Yield in a Fine Textured Cambisol
