In this manuscript, a group acceptance sampling plan (GASP) is developed when the lifetime of the items follows odd generalized exponential log-logistic distribution (OGELLD), the multiple number of items as a group can be tested simultaneously in a tester. The design parameters such as the minimum group size and the acceptance number are derived when the consumer’s risk and the test termination time are specified. The operating characteristic (OC) function values are calculated (intended

In this research, a new acceptance sampling plan for a truncated life test is presented, assuming that the quality characteristic follows the power Lomax distribution. The operating characteristic function values are calculated for the proposed sampling plan, jointly with the optimal sample size and the producer’s risk for a selection of distribution parameters. Furthermore, a comparative study with other sampling plans is introduced to demonstrate the advantages of the proposed plan

distribution, is considered for developing a new single-acceptance sampling plan. The new acceptance sampling plan is developed under a condition wherein the mean lifetime test is truncated within a pre-specified time period. Based on this condition, the parameters of the acceptance sampling plan including the operating characteristics function and the minimum sample size are obtained. The producer's risk in relation to the entire lot of materials is derived and illustrated by numerical examples.
